HomeSafe Georgia is a program that provides up to 18 months of temporary mortgage assistance for unemployed or the underemployed individuals who qualify. If you are approved for assistance, HomeSafe Georgia will bring you up to date on your mortgage payment for up to 6 months of delinquent payment.

Basic Budgeting

Preventative financial evaluation and counseling helps consumers avoid improper money management and credit use through individualized counseling and education. Clients will learn to reconcile income and expenses by allocating funds each month for both regular and periodic expenses.

Credit Counseling & Debt Management

Through credit counseling and debt management plans, CCCS can help consumers identify solutions for credit card debt and other pressing financial obligations.

Housing Counseling

As a HUD-approved comprehensive housing counseling agency, we offer three types of housing-related counseling services: Pre-Purchase Housing Counseling, Foreclosure Prevention Counseling, and Reverse Mortgage Counseling.

Community Financial Literacy Education

Community Educational Programs are offered as an important community outreach tool. These programs, centered around topics such as credit management, budgeting, and “consumer beware” issues, offer participants the opportunity to learn and thus become better managers of the financial aspects of their lives. Our programs are easily adaptable to your time schedule or audience, and they are typically free of charge.

Pre-Filing Bankruptcy Counseling

We are approved by the Executive Office of the U.S. Trustee (EOUST)* to offer pre-filing bankruptcy counseling for residents of Georgia and South Carolina.
